We completed a front-end and brake upgrade on our We completed a front-end and brake upgrade on our 1999 Ram 3500 service truck. The front spindles, upper and lower control arms, and hub bearings were replaced with components from a 2002 Ram 3500. We also upgraded the front brake rotors, pads, and calipers using parts from a 2005 Ram 3500, which feature rotors that are one inch larger than the 2002 model. By switching to the 2002 Ram components, we were able to upgrade from a single-piston brake caliper and a one-piece hub-and-rotor assembly with journal bearings to a dual-piston caliper, slip-on rotor, and bolt-on sealed hub bearing—resulting in improved braking performance and reliability. #mycousinvinnyauto #dodgeram #cummins
2017 Dodge Ram 1500 was equipped with a new Dorman 2017 Dodge Ram 1500 was equipped with a new Dorman aluminum oil cooler housing to replace the original plastic unit, which had cracked and was leaking a significant amount of oil.
